Coffee with roots.
Relationships with depth.

Matria Coffee is a Colombian origin strategy and export firm born in the heart of the country's coffee regions. We exist to turn every transaction into a relationship and every shipment into a story worth telling.

Our team lives and works within the communities where our coffees grow — Cauca, Nariño, Huila, Tolima, Sierra Nevada, Magdalena, Antioquia, Quindío, Cesar, Cundinamarca, Caquetá, among others. We don't source from a distance. We walk the farms, know the producers by name, and understand the altitude, variety, and process behind every lot we export.

We believe that better coffee
is driven by the talent of families, the talent of people.

Relationships before transactions

We cultivate long-term, mutually beneficial bonds. We value the craft of every person involved. Better coffee happens when loyalty is built between people, not between products.

Quality as a way of working

Quality is not an event; it's a discipline. We pursue repeatable quality as the key ingredient of specialty coffee. Where quality improves, relationships strengthen.

Shared prosperity

Specialty coffee can be as prosperous as it is delicious. We work to ensure prices are fair and everyone in the chain benefits from the fruit of their labor.

Transparency through stories

Every lot carries its complete narrative: region, farm, altitude, variety, process, cupping score. We speak the language of specialty coffee fluently.

Origin as identity

We don't sell generic Colombian coffee. We sell Cauca, Nariño, Huila, Sierra Nevada. Each region is a distinct voice, and our job is to amplify it. We are present in 13 departments across the Southern, Central, and Northern coffee zones of Colombia.

Innovation with purpose

We embrace technology when it improves prosperity across the chain. Innovation isn't about trends — it's about getting coffee there better and with more value for everyone.

From strategy to shipment.
End to end.

01

International promotion and positioning

We position producer organizations through competitions, auctions, and trade missions. Events like La Mejor Taza and the Subasta por la Paz have connected over 1,000 coffee farmers with buyers from 10+ countries.

02

Export and direct connection

We facilitate direct commercial relationships between organized producers and buyers, roasters, and international importers. Every contract is a conversation that continues.

03

Origin strategy and narrative

We design proposals that highlight territorial identity, quality profiles, and the social impact of producing communities.

04

Project management

We structure and execute development projects with coffee communities focused on organizational strengthening, market access, and territorial development.

05

Experience and event curation

From a 150-person conference to an intimate farm visit, we create moments that build lasting commercial relationships.

A network that represents
Colombian coffee.

Our reach is built on trust, not contracts. Matria works in direct coordination with producer organizations across 13 departments in Colombia, anchored in our main territorial alliance.
